8 Days Tour From Tangier

After breakfast, we will drive to cross the Rif Mountains and into the Middle Atlas Mountains to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis the most important archaeological site in Morocco. After continuing to Fes via Meknes it was the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail, and then we will continue our tour to Fez. We will rest in a Riad or Hotel for the evening.

 After breakfast, we will explore the spiritual capital of Morocco. Fez has one of the most preserved medieval cities in the world, which is considered a world heritage site by the UNESCO.

We will spend some time exploring the narrow alleys of the Medina, exploring some amazing landmarks such as Al Karaouine University; which is the oldest university in the world, along with the leather tanneries, the Nejjarine Fountain… After that, we will go to a high place to witness Fez panoramically before we head back to our Riad for the night.   

 After pick you up, we will start our journey to the southeastern parts of Morocco. We will visit on our way to the desert many exciting places staring with the Switzerland of Morocco, which is the town Ifrane, then we will go to Azrou and the cedar forest near this city to meet the monkeys.

After that, we will travel to Midelt. Then, our tour will take us across the mountain road and Ziz Valley to the huge oases of Tafilalt. After visiting towns such as Erfoud and Rissani, we will finally stop at Merzouga and at the end of the day, we will ride the camels toward the dunes of Erg Chebbi where there’s a camp. We will spend the night under the stars listening to the nomadic band.

We will wake up very early to see the sunrise, and then we will take the camels and go back to the town Merzouga. After breakfast and shower, we will drive to Rissani, a town known for its old market and the fossil town after that Erfoud.

Then, we will go Tinghir and Todra Gorges after that to explore the highest and narrowest valley in Morocco. Then, we will drive to Dades Valley and explore the “monkey toes” rock formations on our way before we stop at a hotel to spend the night.

After eating our breakfast, we will leave Dades and head to Kalaat M’Gouna and ouarzazate across the road of a “thousand Kasbah”. We will stop at the town of roses Kalaat M’Gouna for a little while before we head to ouarzazate after visiting Skoura Oasis and the Kasbah of Ameridil.

Ouarzazate is the Hollywood of Morocco; it can be seen in many movies like the Mummy, Gladiator and the Last Temptation of Christ…. Then, we will travel to Ait Benhaddou, which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco which is also a UNESCO world heritage site.

After that, we will drive across the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka Road to Marrakech where we will spend the night in a Riad.

After breakfast, we will go on a guided tour to explore the Red City. We will visit all the important landmarks and historical sites in Marrakech like the Souks, Majorelle Gardens, the Koranic School, the Koutoubia Mosque the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs… We will have lunch near Jamaa El Fna. After that, we will have a free program.
