6 Days Tour From Tangier

During this day we will explore Fez, which is the oldest and largest medieval city in the whole world. We will go out with a local guide to discover the old medina of Fes, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. We will visit many historical sites like Al Qarawiyin University (the most ancient university in the world) and the tanneries along with the Souks of the Medina. Then, we will start our journey to the southeastern parts of Morocco.

We will visit on our way to the desert many exciting places staring with the Switzerland of Morocco, which is the town Ifrane, then we will go to Azrou and the cedar forest near this city to meet the monkeys. After that, we will travel to Midelt. Then, our tour will take us across the mountain road and Ziz Valley to the huge oases of Tafilalt. After visiting towns such as Erfoud and Rissani, we will finally stop at Merzouga and check into a Riad or a hotel.

After breakfast, we will explore the area of Merzouga. We will visit the Gnawa musicians who are descendants of slaves from Sudan. Then, we will visit the lake where the birds gather around. After that, we will visit some nomads who have a shop. At the end of the day, we will ride the camels toward the dunes of Erg Chebbi where there’s a camp. We will spend the night under the stars listening to the nomadic band.

After eating our breakfast, we will explore Ouarzazate and the Kasbah of Taourirt. Then, we will travel to Ait Benhaddou, which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. After that, we will drive across the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka Road to Marrakech where we will spend the night in a Riad.
