After breakfast, enjoy a self-guided tour of Chefchaouen, also known as The Blue City, nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains. Founded in 1471, the city’s name comes from the Berber phrase “Chef Chaouen,” meaning “look at the horns,” referring to the mountain peaks that surround it.

Chefchaouen is a peaceful haven, perfect for hiking, exploring, and unwinding. Wander through the charming blue-painted streets of the medina and visit Ras El Ma (meaning "head of the water") — the natural spring that provides water for the town’s irrigation and traditional washing areas. This lively spot is where local women still gather to wash clothes and blankets by hand.

Essaouira’s relaxed vibe, dramatic ramparts, and inviting beach have long attracted artists and free spirits. The town’s bohemian charm has been a draw for years, and in the 1950s, Orson Welles stayed at the Hotel des Iles while filming “Othello”.
